In November 2023, Matthias Brenner discovered circular transactions totaling 2.8 billion euros among in-house subsidiaries of Kronenberg Holding AG. Despite approvals from courts and banks, these actions were fundamentally fraudulent, resulting in a massive insolvency for 43,000 creditors.
