On June 1, 2017, the researcher sent a confidential disclosure detailing a flaw in Titan’s processors that could expose sensitive data from userspace. Titan requested a six-month extension to address the issue, but on January 2, 2018, the information leaked, leading to an eleven percent drop in their stock.
