HE REPORTED IT TO THE ATHLETIC DIRECTOR IN OCTOBER. THE DIRECTOR TOLD HIM IT WAS HANDLED. HE FOUND THE PARENT'S NAME ON A DONOR PLAQUE SIX MONTHS LATER.
On October 12, 2017, a water polo coach at Redfield University received an email from a parent offering $200,000 in exchange for her daughter’s admission as a recruited athlete. They had no prior experience in the sport, but when the coach reported the offer, the Athletic Director advised that it would be handled, leading to no further action.
